"This co-fermented blend of Grenache and Tannat is grown in a young vineyard planted on a rocky clay soil. The vines are head trained. Last year (2019) we made a Rosé from the young vines; this year, a red was on order.
Both varieties were picked together and fermented without destemming in open top vats. The fruit was foot crushed, then gently foot-trodden twice daily during fermentation. After a gentle pressing, the wine was aged in Flextank, with a touch of Albariño added. There was one racking before bottling."
